Located in the village of Mane in Provence, the Caramelerie first welcomes the visitor in a garden converted into a refuge with butterflies, in collaboration with Act for planet and the League for the Protection of Birds.
Toffees are made entirely by hand. The production workshop, visible behind a large bay window and accessible by a footbridge, offers visitors a dive into the history of manufactures of the 1950s. France in the Ratti Workshops. They will first roll the preparation, then pass it on a rolling machine to shape it into a soft continuous square caramel, then cut into small cubes and wrapped one by one in a golden foil.
