Organic olive oil from Haute-Provence
LIMITED EDITION to 900 liters.
We have received a legacy; a heritage from the olive groves of Maison Brémond. The producers of Haute-Provence also pass on this heritage by offering us their exceptional olives. Maison Brémond has signed farming contracts with several local producers which allow them to benefit from our assistance for the maintenance of their groves all year round, the organisation of hand-harvesting and of course the pressing of their olives on harvest day. These olives are pressed in the Moulin à Huile du Luberon olive mill in Volx. These first agricultural contracts have enabled us to select organic olives of the Aglandau variety from the Domaine La Bastide Neuve located in Bonnieux, in the Vaucluse. Harvest carried out in November 2019.
Food pairings: On a ricotta or a yoghurt. With a Greek feta salad. For dessert with a fruit pie or cake. On a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. For Mediterranean breakfasts, on toast in the morning with honey.
Aromatic palette: Aromatic palette: Hints of artichoke and green banana peel followed by fruity sensations of apple and almond. On the palate the aromas are greener; we find the green banana peel perceived in direct olfaction, the green olive, and the sensations of radish.
