The new olive oil of the year

Each year, as early as October, we select with André Meiffre and his son Guillaume the first harvest of the olives of their domain situated in the Pays d'Arles, in Provence

The Arbequina variety is picked green and immediatly pressed at the Moulin des Ombres. This very first oil generally has a strong taste of artichoke and freshly cut grass and marks the beginning of the season of olives harvest.
