Piri Piri marinade spicy sauce
Piri Piri is a spicy sauce that can be used as a marinade. Its name comes from the eponymous pepper, coming from Africa and adopted by the Portuguese, who created this sauce. It is today prepared for Maison Brémond 1830 in the heart of Provence, in the city of Morières-lès-Avignon by a reduced family team, in a semi-artisanal company.
No need to panic howerver : even though it's hot, this sauce is called spicy more because it spreads in mouth the flavour of pepper for a little while, than because it is extra spicy. Adults as well as kids will be happy to taste it.
Its spicy and unique taste results from a subtle mix of authentic sherry vinegar from Andalusia, olive oil, pepper, paprika, parsley, coriander, garlic and harissa pepper from Tunisia.
