These heart-shaped biscuits were designed exclusively for Maison Brémond 1830. The recipe for these shortbreads with their subtle rose flavour was made from noble, natural products, with no additives or colouring agents and essentially with organic products such as Organic Flour produced in Malijai (Haute-Provence), Organic Rose water and essential oil of geranium from Egypt. The dried rose petals were a gift from the couvent des Cordeliers in Forcalquier.
Located in Haute-Provence, in a 19th century former industrial building at the entrance to the town of Forcalquier, the Biscuiterie de Forcalquier makes all its products from naturally low-gluten artisanal flours from organic farming.
Biscuit making workshops open tot he public are open from the Spring to the Autumn.
Ingredients: Organic wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, butter, eggs, organic rose water, dried rose, fine salt, essential oil of geranium. May contain traces of nuts.
